Comic Con 2013.

Can't say it was my most eventful Comic Con but I had a good time at least. Didn't get much photos either. I'll say this is going to be a much shorter write up than usual.
Preview Night:
I went in and played more of the new Killer Instinct (I'm feeling like Max of Assist Me fame hyped up over the new Killer Instinct). Afterwards, I also checked out DuckTales Remastered. I even got a photo of myself in the money bin.
The KI build at the Xbox booth was the E3 build. I'll get to that later. Now, just so I don't have to say it, I did play the new KI each day.
Thursday:
I spent some time in the gaming room and took someone on with my team in UMvC3. I also went to the Nintendo Lounge to try out their games like Bayonetta 2, Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze, and Super Mario 3D World. It was also an excuse to get more Streetpasses.
I also got my Xbox 360 version of Super Street Fighter IV signed by Ono.
Friday:
I was in the gaming room again. I was pretty much using my team of Phoenix Wright/Ghost Rider/Firebrand because someone was attempting to use Mr. Wright. After beating people in causal, that same someone dared me to take on a high tier player on a console being shown through the projector. I actually accepted and fought off the infamous teams people deem bull (Doctor Doom/Dante/Vergil, Chris G's infamous team of Morrigan/Dr. Doom/Vergil, and Zero/Dante/Vergil).
(While I'm at it, why isn't there a Vergil fan shirt in regards to him feeling so motivated?)
The only panel I attended this year was the Street Fighter panel to see more about the franchise and what it's up to and some Ultra Street Fighter IV stuff. I might have cared about the Mr. and Ms. Street Fighter pageant, with Street Fighter cosplayers, if I didn't have such bad seat at the panel (I was really in the back and couldn't really see said pageant).
I will also come out and saying I'm a tool. I know Tales of the Abyss isn't even my favorite Tales game nor do I think it's the greatest Tales game ever. That being said, I actually bought the 3DS version from Namco Bandai's booth.
Also, I once again watched a bunch of awful cartoons. This year was more like Best of from previous years (or would that make it Worst of). So, I saw snippets of that Thor cartoon I saw last year, Rocket Robin Hood (I can hear the "WTF" coming right now), and others I may have seen before. (Oh, and a commercial for sparkling coloring book because we needed to see Superman all sparkling? No comment.)
Saturday:
Now here's where something's different from the other days. The costume I've been wanting to do for the longest time. Yes, the guy that calls himself Cless Aileron dresses up as Cless Alvein.
It really could use some tune-ups. The belt wasn't the right tightness and could have had more holes into it for tightness sake. Oh, and a wig that's more dirty blonde.
Yes, I even had to get a pic of myself as Cless playing the new KI. I did find the EVO build of KI at the SDTekken game room, so I at least got to see more Glacius. (Oh yeah, and more Divekick).
As for the masquerade, we have costumes like the Shredder, Marvel Vs DC through...a Yu-Gi-Oh spoof, and something from Portal (and in the room I was originally viewing it from, someone said that particular meme in regards to Portal that I find myself thinking, "Okay, that meme is making want to leave the room and watch the rest of it at the Sails Pavilion." I stomach the heckling before then but the overused meme was where I couldn't take it anymore. You are not clever using that meme!).
Sunday:
Last day, I found out that while Dead Rising 3 will be in the Xbox Lounge, it wasn't actually playable. But I'll say it looks cool but hearing it's aiming for the Call of Duty crowd does leave me scared. At least this new protagonist (I think his name was Nick) will still get to put on ridiculous outfits (Big, tough guy crossdressing? Always good for a laugh.). Oh, and I did see the custom arcade cabinet for KI in the Xbox Lounge (played on it of course).
I also hang out with a friend for a short time before heading back home. Of course, I had to milk some time for a little more Streetpasses before doing so.
Some small amount of cosplay photos:
Jun the Swan.
Lucia, Jean, and Leo from Lunar 2. (It was on my way to another jump in line for KI. I was smart enough to go, "It's long and it'll still be there." and get this shot)
Luna and Mia from Lunar 1. (It was hard for me to be steady, probably because of my costume. This is the best that I have and it's not even up to par.)
Like I said, not one of my more eventful year at Comic Con (especially since there weren't much in panel I'm interested in for this year).
Next year, I have two things in mind here.
1. Do some tune ups on the Cless Alvein costume. It'll be another Saturday costume, probably.
2. Get the alternate costume going. Who is it? I'm not going to dance around it. I want to do Shinjiro Taiga in battle uniform from Sakura Wars 5. It'll be a simpler one (it better be). (I had considered Ichiro Ogami's battle uniform but I'm not in the mood to change my haircut.)
